This remains one of my favorite digital paintings. It was of a girl I saw emerging out of a trailer at a Rodeo. I was struck by the "Little Boy Blue" pose and the contrast of the red hat against the green trailer walls. Most of all I love her lipstick and the pink sunglasses with their reflection. The hat cord seems to frame the face, and the contrasty afternoon light gives her clothes a bold outline. | |
