Some of my favorite works of art are the Ballet paintings and Pastels of the great French painter Edgar Degas. For some time now I have been wanting to try to re-create this look digitally  but until now have not had access to such a venue. Recently I was lucky enough to have access to a collection of photographs of Richard Calmes the  from the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre production of The Nutcracker in Atlanta, Georgia. He was kind enough to grant me permission to use his collection of photographs and from these fine images I have created a portfolio of artwork in the Degas Style that I've titled The Dance.
