In this step I use Painter and start with the original photographic image from step 1. I then use the Woodcut effect to create the image on the Left. You will have to play a lot with this to get it right since the preview window is quite small, but here are the settings I used.

I then take this image and apply an Artistic plug-in effect from Photoshop called Cut Out. This smoothes the lines and drops out some of the smaller lines to create an extremely realistic pen and ink look.
