Step 3 - Combining the images

To complete the work, I selected the entire cut-out effect outline image and pasted it into the combined base image and H20 background. This created yet another layer. I set the composite method to Gel, and make this the top most layer. You can see that the pen effect really brings out the details. To complete it, I did some blending on the base image and pen image using the liquid brushes Grainy H20 and Just add water as well as added some canvas space for a border. I also played around with the color balance and saturation on the base layer to create this final image.
