When
I conceived this image I really wanted to do something to emphasize the
time of day and the long shadows of the hockey players. Unfortunately it
was extremely difficult to shoot because to the extreme contrast of the
late afternoon light. Instead of trying to even the lighting I chose to
take it the other way with a multicolored silk screen look so that the
evening light was implied in the many colors and the long shadow figures
stood out. You have to look at it for a while to see exactly what it is so
it has a bit of a mystery to it as well. |
