Boys in Waves |

This is the second of two images I made of the boys playing in the surf. Even from a distance, you could feel their total rapture romping in the waves. In this painting I really wanted to capture the way the light reflected off the waves and the numerous hues of the waves and surf. I intentionally gave minimal detail to their face which were mostly in shade, and concentrated on the natural composition of their poses. | |
