Buoy and Girl |

I titled this one Buoy and Girl as as a pun to describe my interpretation of of the girl gazing at the buoy in the distance. The whole scene reminded me of a Winslow Homer piece. I really wanted to emphasize the deep blue contrasted against the white of the surf and white beach dress. I especially liked the pose and later decided to add the red ribbon and buoy to give some added color to the image, and cast some mystery to the scene. | |
